Department carries out the following activities:
- Monitoring and studying health and educational activities of health institutions in the field of health statistics and provides methodological assistance to improve them;
- Development and improvement of methodology and participation in research projects;
- preparation of reports, information, analysis and specific programs for certain priority health problems;
- participation in preparation of publications and determining a set of publications which will be published in paper and electronic form;
- conducting dissemination of data through education and information;
- conducting research on customer satisfaction, publications and information;
- introducing a calendar about publication of information and data;
- cooperation with national and international institutions and humanitarian organizations on issues of health education;
- participation in various committees and professional bodies on health education through their professional opinions and suggestions;
