In the process of harmonization with EU legislation there is a need to perform monitoring residue of a wider range of pesticides in food and water. In order to meet the expected requirements and requirements from the monitoring program for food adopted by the Government, the Laboratory for contaminants and eco-toxicology performs:

◘ content of residues of organochlorine pesticides and organophosphorus pesticides in foodstuffs and drinking water, as follows:

◘ content of mycotoxins (secondary products of the metabolism of mold that can develop under certain conditions cereals, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, etc.).

◘ Besides examining the content of residues of pesticides in food, there is also examination of the content of contaminants in food, drinking water, surface water, land and other types of media.

This laboratory is accredited (according to ISO / IEC 17025: 2005) for testing: organochlorine pesticides (HCB, αHCH, βHCH, γ HCH, σ HCH, aldrin, dieldrin) in water and determination of mycotoxins (B1, B2, G1, G2)
