Department for reproductive, adolescent health and vulnerable groups:
- monitors the health of all vulnerable groups (children, women, adolescents, youth, persons with disabilities, migrants and the elderly).
- proposes measures for health needs of vulnerable groups
- performs research activities in order to assess the risk of certain diseases of vulnerable groups at local, regional and national level;
- organizes visits for methodological assessment teams and preventive vaccination stations in North Macedonia
- organizes visits for methodological assessment of nursing in the country
- organizes regional workshops to assess the capacity of teams that perform preventive check-ups and immunization
- organizes workshops for parents in kindergartens and centers for early childhood development with special emphasis on the Roma communities
- implements health education and educational activities for families in rural areas and Roma communities for child health, immunization, safe motherhood and adolescent health
- prepares, prints and distributes guidelines for health professionals and brochures for parents
- collaborates with national and international institutions through joint project and other activities (participation in working groups, committees, etc..)
